Think back to when you were a child. Who was the person that had the most influence on you as it relates to your 
understanding of God? Who is the person who taught you to pray? Who is the person that guided you in developing a relationship with Jesus?
You may be able to answer the question and name one or both of your parents, grandparents, another member of your home or your Sunday School teacher. As you think about this question, you may discover that you had no guidance in your faith or that today you don’t know anything about God and God’s story and our connection to God’s story as God’s beloved children.
As the person who is responsible for influencing and shaping the development of a child or children, you are the most critical person in teaching and guiding your child’s (children’s) relationship with God. Faith formation and development begins in the home but most of the time it is hard to know how and where to begin. And most of all, it is very hard to do this on our own.
Our Kids 4 Christ Sunday School meets immediately following communion (during our worship service) and ends when the worship service is over. 
A letter to our parents:
Dear Parents,
Thank you for entrusting your child to our care on Sunday mornings. We are looking forward to a terrific year of fun and learning as we get to know each other and study the Bible together in new and interesting ways.
Parents are the most important people in a child’s life, and learning about God starts in the home. Living Faith’s Sunday school affirms the home as the center of biblical guidance.
Children’s bibles are available before, during and after each church service. Please know they are available for you to take home.
We may have snacks or taste foods. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or other dietary restrictions.
Two things you can do to support the best Sunday school experience for your child is to encourage attendance and to pray together as a family. If you would like to contribute to Living Faith’s Sunday school program, please contact Pastor Maryanne.
